writer/director
John Poliquin is an Emmy award-winning filmmaker with a keen eye for storytelling and a mastery of visual craft. He is a co-founder of DREAM IN POST, a VFX and post-production studio, generative lab DREAMPOP, and co-founder of FANFARE Films, a live-action commercial production company. His commercial clients include Meta, Amazon, Nintendo, eBay and Apple.
John has expanded his creative footprint into the film industry, securing feature film deals with prominent studios and platforms, including Netflix, AMC and Warner Brothers/New Line. Recently, he executive-produced the VFX-heavy film “Coyotes” (2025) starring Justin Long and Kate Bosworth. A perennial innovator, John leans into storytelling across every medium - ranging from celuloid and CGI to generative and theatrical found-footage. John lives and works in West Hollywood under the supervision of his cat Beau.
